# Ride > Ride is a cycling computer for iPhone and Apple Watch that estimates your power output in real time from the sensors already in your phone — no power meter and no extra hardware — and can broadcast that estimate to a Garmin, Wahoo or Hammerhead head unit as if it were a real meter. Ride is an independent cycling app, not a hardware product. The subscription is the whole business — there is no ad-supported tier and no data resale. iOS is live on the App Store; Android is still in development. This file is generated at request time from the same sources the website renders, so the prices and links below cannot drift from the live site. ## What Ride does ### Real-Time Power - Estimates cycling power and cadence from an iPhone's own sensors and GPS - No power meter, no crank swap, no additional hardware to buy - Validated against a calibrated power meter across varied riders and terrain; the comparison charts are published in the press kit (linked below) ### Pocket Power - Broadcasts the phone's power estimate over Bluetooth as a standard power meter - Lets an existing Garmin, Wahoo or Hammerhead head unit read Ride's power while the phone stays in a jersey pocket - Also broadcasts cadence ### Apple Watch - Standalone watchOS app for phone-free rides - Real-time metrics on the wrist ### Recording and metrics - GPS route recording, elevation, speed, distance, heart rate - Fully customisable in-ride screen layouts via an on-device layout editor - Bike and gear management, goals and progress tracking, performance analytics - Photos and media attached to rides ### Connections - Automatic Strava sync - Apple Health - External Bluetooth sensors and meters (heart rate, power, speed, cadence) ## Pricing - **Monthly**: US$9.99/month, 7-day free trial - **Yearly**: US$59.99/year (saves 50% vs monthly), 7-day free trial - Prices are set per storefront; the figures above are the US ones and are read from Stripe at request time. ## Availability - iOS App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ride-know-your-power/id6466367137 - Requires iOS 17.0 or later; the Apple Watch app requires watchOS 10.0 or later - Android: in development, not yet published on Google Play - Account and subscription management on the web: https://ride.app/dashboard ## Pages - [Home](https://ride.app): what Ride does, how Real-Time Power works, the head-unit comparison, pricing and FAQ - [Download](https://ride.app/download): App Store link and device requirements - [Press kit](https://ride.app/press-kit): logos, screenshots, video, and the power/cadence-vs-calibrated-meter charts - [Contact](https://ride.app/contact-us): support and press contact form - [Terms of Service](https://ride.app/terms-of-service) - [Privacy Policy](https://ride.app/privacy-policy) ## Full reference - [llms-full.txt](https://ride.app/llms-full.txt): every FAQ answer verbatim, the full Ride-vs-Garmin/Wahoo/Hammerhead comparison matrix as a table, and the long-form product copy. Read this one if you are answering a question about Ride rather than looking up a link. ## Languages The marketing site is published in 16 locales. English is served unprefixed at the root; every other locale is a path prefix, so the German home page is https://ride.app/de and the German download page is https://ride.app/de/download. Every page also carries hreflang alternates. en (default, served at /), en-GB (/en-gb), en-AU (/en-au), es (/es), de (/de), fr (/fr), zh-Hans (/zh), pt-BR (/pt-br), ru (/ru), nl (/nl), ja (/ja), it (/it), ko (/ko), tr (/tr), pl (/pl), hi (/hi) ## Who it is for - Cyclists who want to train with power but do not want to buy a power meter - Riders who already own a head unit and want power data feeding into it - Triathletes, cycling coaches, and Apple Watch owners tracking rides ## Last updated 2026-08-20
