Real-time power in Ride is designed to give you a reliable estimate of your effort using the sensors already in your iPhone, along with data available through GPS and location signals. It doesn't require any external power meters or sensors, making it simple to start riding and tracking straight away. To improve accuracy, riders enter basic details like height and weight, helping the system better estimate output. It's built to stay consistent and dependable for training, pacing, and tracking performance across different rides and conditions.

While Strava is primarily a social platform for sharing activities, Ride is a dedicated cycling computer that provides real-time data during your ride, including power estimation. Ride syncs automatically with Strava so you get the best of both worlds.

Yes. Ride has a full-featured Apple Watch app that can record rides independently. You can view real-time power, speed, distance, and more directly on your wrist.

Even with a Garmin, Ride offers unique features like Real-Time Power estimation without a power meter, seamless Apple Watch integration, and our Pocket Power mode. You can use Ride alongside your existing setup.

No, you don't need a phone mount. Our Pocket Power feature works with your iPhone in your pocket or jersey. You can also use your Apple Watch as the primary display while your phone stays stored away.

Currently, Ride is only available for iOS devices. We're focused on delivering the best possible experience on iPhone and Apple Watch first, but we're exploring Android support for the future.
